[3] Objective agreements are agreed between two parties, but the objectives are set unilaterally by the employer as part of its management rights. [6] For the company, the definition of objective agreements saves time in the business process. Agreeing on overall and partial targets avoids duplication and helps coordinate processes and tasks. In addition, the coordination of day-to-day business processes can be shortened by clear rules and priorities of employees` flexibility. Different methods can be used for the evaluation of objectives. An effective instrument is the balanced scorecard. When achieving objectives, it is important to check that it is transparent to the employee and that it is perceived as fair.
